Journalist Terry Phillips is a veteran war correspondent. From the collapse of the Soviet Empire to conflicts in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Somalia, Haiti and Detroit, he has reported major stories for CBS, NPR and NBC/Mutual News.
Now back in his native California, Phillips is moderator for the “Quality of Life” interview/call-in program heard on NPR stations (www.kvpr.org). His latest novel, “Murder at the Altar” (www.HyeBooks.com) is based on the Dec. 24, 1933 assassination of Armenian Archbishop Ghevont Tourian in New York City.
